I just received a fragment from DHL, what should I do next?
Scan the QR code on the label on the fragment and learn more about the international participative project.
You will have the option to upload your idea and content that you create with your fragment and become part of the global network of collabers through the DHL InMotion Portal.
On the story here click on 'I already have a carpet fragment' and you will be redirected to this portal.
Where can I see what the other current owners of the carpet fragments are up to?
Please see our story: The fragments journeys. Here you can go to individual fragments and get updates about their current owners and their culturalxcollab journey.
I have an Instagram account, and would like to post updates of my fragment on my social media, should I be following any guidelines?
It is amazing that you want to share your updates on your social media channels. We would love to see everything from the unboxing to behind the scenes of your collab idea.
Please add us as collaborator on your Instagarm post so we can also showcase the journey of your fragment on our social media account: @culturalxcollabs.
I have no social media accounts, Facebook or Instagram, what should I do?
Don't worry, we will also be sharing updates of all fragment and their current owners through our Islamic·Art Online Portal. Your story is important to us and we will share all your updates through the portal. Please use DHL InMotion website to send us your content for us to update. The tutorial video above helps you navigate the DHL InMotion site. But if you still face any difficulty using the portal or uploading your content, please don't hesitate to contact us at: culturalcollabs@smb.museum
When I click on ‘I already have a fragment’, it asks for a code. Where can I find my code?
You should have recived an email from us (culturalxcollabs@smb.musuem) with the code. This is a unique code and only for you. Please don't share you code with anyone else and keep it safe. Please save our email address so the future emails don't end up in your spam folder.
I received an email from InMotion DHL asking me to confirm my entry, what does it mean?
It is important to confirm your entry by clicking on the link in this email, otherwise you risk losing your data.
On the InMotion portal, do I need to fill everything out in one go?
No. Once you add your unique code to enter the portal, please fill in your personal information. After this you have the option to upload your content and write a text. Please use this to continue sending us your updates throughout your collab journey. You will be able to uplaod content multiple times and keep us updated.
This is followed by a nomination form. Please only fill this out when you are ready to send your fragment over to another participant. You have the opportunity to nominate someone from your network to recieve the fragment you own and continue the CulturalxCollab journey in any country of your choice. Ideally, please only fill out the nomination form with consent of the person you are nominating. This will conclude your CulturalxCollab journey.
I am not done with my fragments collab project; can I upload more photos or videos later?
Yes. Please use the code provided to you in the email from us to log in everytime you want to uplaod more content.
There is a Nomination form at the end, when should I fill this out?
Please only fill this out when you are ready to send your fragment over to another participant. You have the opportunity to nominate someone from your network to recieve the fragment you own and continue the CulturalxCollab journey in any country of your choice. Ideally, please only fill out the nomination form with consent of the person you are nominating. This will conclude your CulturalxCollab journey. You will be contacted by DHL about shipment of the fragment if you choose this option. This will be of no cost to you and the charges will be taken care of by DHL.
I have filled out the Nomination form, what happens next?
Congratulations on completing your CulturalxCollab journey. Don't forget to sign the label on the back of the fragment. At the bottom of the nomination form there is a question, would you like to deliver the fragment yourself, if you selected no for this question - DHL will contact you to organize the shipment free of cost. Please sit back and relax until DHL contacts you. You have nothing more to do at this moment.
If you selected yes to this question you will be responsible for handing over the fragment yourself.
