Each chosen participant will temporarily own a fragment for a maximum of six months, becoming part of #CulturalxCollabs (please note that the fragments remain the property of the "Freunde des Museums für Islamische Kunst im Pergamonmuseum e. V.", and do not become your property). After the period of maximum six months, the fragment must be passed on to a new fragment owner nominated by the participant or returned to the Museum for Islamic Art. The fragments are delivered by our partner DHL (with no cost to the participant).

This is a project organized by the Museum for Islamic Art in the Pergamon Museum, Berlin. At the culmination of the project in 2027, the fragment will become part of the permanent exhibition at the newly renovated Pergamon Museum. Detailed instructions regarding receiving and returning the fragment will be communicated to selected participants.
